Easy Access to All TAK Service

The TAK server works behind the scenes to integrate and deliver the right data to the right users, whether it’s chat, maps, or images. Users on different kinds of devices and different platforms can work together more effectively with optimized situational awareness.  


Price

  • One-time setup Fee: $1,000 (applied at checkout)
  • Plus, $700 per month for up to 500 users

Cloud Services

  • Procurement and configuration of a c5xlarge AWS instance.
  • OS installation and OS-level security hardening.
  • Application of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) Category I, II, and III controls.
  • Application of TAK-specific firewall policies.


TAK Services and Support

  • TAK Server installation and basic secure configuration.
  • Enabling Transport Layer Security (TLS) with x509 digital certificates.
  • Disabling all non-TLS services.

Technical Support

  • Periodic operating system patches and security updates.
  • Troubleshooting of server or network outages

Services Not included in Basic TAK Subscription Fee:

  • The Basic Tier is a self-managed TAK installation. After initial installation and setup, all TAK maintenance and administration is performed by the customer, including username and password-based authentication. Raytheon BBN will provide technical support to ensure the virtual machine hosting TAK Server is up and running, and continually patched. TAK Server clustering is not included.
